My Apologies...
I realize that it's been some time since I've posted here, but I assure you, I've not abandoned the blog! I'm currently in the midst of some very time-consuming home renovation projects. However, they should be drawing to a close in the coming weeks, at which time I hope to be able to dedicate a lot more time to this blog.
Until then, perhaps some of you can help me out! What are your favorite places to go and things to do in Fitchburg and surrounding areas? I believe the most recent reader recommendation that I tried was the West Fitchburg Pizza shop - I especially enjoyed the calzones! I'd love to hear other restaurant, shopping, or recreational suggestions. Thanks to all who continue to read, and welcome to all of those stopping by for the first time!

Not to be too self-serving, but I went up Rollstone Hill last week for a story. First time I had been up there, and I thought it was pretty cool. You can get up and down and see it all in an hour.
As for chow? I'm fat and happy after Thai food at Bangkok Hill on Lunenburg Street (or whatever it is in Lunenburg). Both Mr. and Mrs. Lefferts highly approve, but be warned, the drunken noodle is darn hot.
ah, the great one that I forgot to mention. Yes, Bangkok Hill is really good! They seem to be doing well, which means that they will stay open, I hope.
Thank you so much for the tips! I've heard good things about Harley House and am already a fan of Stillman's. I think it's been emotionally difficult for me to try Bangkok Hill since I was SO addicted to the building's prior occupant, Gloria's, but I guess it's time for me to get past that and try what sounds like some great food!
I'm not familiar with Trudie's Treats or Pasta Land - can you tell me where they are located?
Jason, I've definitely added Rollstone Hill to my list of places to check out after reading your article in Fitchburg Pride. My list has been growing quickly since the paper started up, which is wonderful! I just need to get done with my home renovations so I can get going on more interesting things...
Trudies is right in Lunenburg center, at the intersection of 2A and Lancaster Ave. It's in an old white house and there is a small parking lot right next to the house (on 2A).
Pasta Land is at 557 Lancaster St. (Rte. 117) in Leominster.
