My husband and I came to Fitchburg in 2004, having previously lived in northern New England and later in eastern Worcester county. Although we were initially drawn here by the affordable housing costs, we have been very pleased to discover what Fitchburg and surrounding towns have to offer. I feel that it's important to share some of the positive aspects of this region - in particular, I hope to reach other young professionals like myself who are considering purchasing a home in the area but who may not initially realize the benefits beyond low housing costs.

oh my gosh I was just there (weekly run to Market Basket). Was this over by Home depot?
It was at the far edge of the JC Penney parking lot, just before Home Depot. It looked like the person had tried to bypass police tape to try to get over to Home Depot. They even still had their blinker on to signal they were going to turn right. :)
*HOW* does someone get that deep into a puddle? Seriously, they didn't stop at all as the water started to come up over their hood!! YUKES!
