This blog was created to discuss some of the positive aspects of living in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, that are often overlooked by outsiders and residents alike.
Obviously, I've been pretty awful about updating this blog lately. There are so many fabulous local things I intend to post about - the farmers' market, Rabbit Hole, Marshall Farm, the list goes on an on - but I just haven't had the time. For anyone's who's interested, please feel free to follow me on Twitter...it's much easier to toss out quick comments in that format!

My husband and I came to Fitchburg in 2004, having previously lived in northern New England and later in eastern Worcester county. Although we were initially drawn here by the affordable housing costs, we have been very pleased to discover what Fitchburg and surrounding towns have to offer. I feel that it's important to share some of the positive aspects of this region - in particular, I hope to reach other young professionals like myself who are considering purchasing a home in the area but who may not initially realize the benefits beyond low housing costs.
